About Willow Brook

Our story… which is only just beginning

Our adventure really began over two decades ago, during bedtime stories our mom would tell us every night about the family campground she dreamed we would someday own. As she shared her visions with us our minds would be transported to a wonderful place where nature spread out around us, and we all had responsibilities that didn’t really seem like work. We fell in love with her stories and would always beg for more details, drinking it all in. Eventually the stories were put on hold as all of us grew up and moved away to live different lives far away from each other. Our love for our dream campground, however, was always there in the back of our minds, even occasionally being brought up during family gatherings.

Finally, after many years, college, and kids, and some family deaths that really shook us emotionally, we were in a place where we needed something to hope for. We knew it was time. We decided to write a business plan and see if we could possibly make our mom’s dream campground an actual reality. As we worked on it, our excitement grew, but we were lacking the most important ingredient: LAND. We started searching but nothing quite seemed to fit until June of 2019 when we came across an ad for a plot of land that somehow seemed perfect. We were almost scared to get our hopes up, but we agreed to meet in TN to take a look. We traveled from different areas of the country and met in the tiny little town of Adamsville. We made it to the property and absolutely fell in love. It was like we had come home. It was overgrown, full of brambles and bugs, and we LOVED IT.

We made the decision to proceed with the purchase, and after many trials and setbacks, the land FINALLY became ours. We’ve been cleaning it up and getting it ready, making memories that are priceless and have given us exactly what our souls were searching for: simplicity and peace.

Our dream includes various types of camping sites, life sized board games, obstacle courses, game nights, fairy trails, endless memories, and so much more! We are excited to make our lifelong story a reality and to share this dream with all of you. We want to encourage play, adventure, and love for nature and family.

We would love for you to follow our journey as we transform this beautiful land into a beautiful campground. We hope that someday you can come make your own amazing memories and become the most essential part of our story!

We can’t wait!
